Few words about me…

My name is Andrzej Wilczyński. My whole working life revolves around computer science, which has always been my great passion and meant more than just a subject from the schedule. In order to develop my interests, I decided to move from family village to Cracow and start an undergraduate course in Computer Science at Cracow University of Technology. Having enrolled on the university course I decided to go to the Netherlands for a six-month course. Studying at Fontys University of Applied Sciences in Eindhoven, I met a lot of interesting people who consistently convinced me that IT is what I want to do in my life. Having returned to Poland, I defended my BEng thesis and 2 years later in 2015 I got my MSc degree with honors in Computer Science.

Currently, I am a research and teaching assistant in the Department of Computer Science at Cracow University of Technology. The main scope of my research includes blockchain-based modelling in distributed computing, cloud computing, in particular data and resource virtualization, tasks scheduling in cloud computing and broadly defined security in these areas. I also run my own company madeCode which offers a wide range of IT services including designing and developing software for commercial companies. Furthermore, I am a PhD student in the Department of Computer Science at AGH University of Science and Technology.
